I’m a musician, writer, and naturalist from Los Angeles, California. I spent my undergraduate degree studying music in Minnesota, where I gained a love for the outdoors, competency in the Italian language during a semester abroad in Milan, and knowledge for a career path in music therapy. 

 

This website arose out of a long-standing desire to share my stories with others, and the impetus to publish it came from a sense of wanting to commemorate the 10-year anniversary of a life-altering surgery. As a queer, multi-ethnic, introverted, invisibly-disabled woman, I'm inspired by how cultural contexts shape musical traditions, learning languages, early music, public libraries, disability advocacy, children's health, evolving relationships between humans and wilderness, and creative writing. I’m a lifelong choral singer and currently in training to become a hospital music therapist.
